Public Health (MPH) - Health Behavior Health Promotion
The Master of Public Health (MPH) degree is designed to be an interdisciplinary, professional degree in public health. The MPH Program provides opportunities for students to obtain broad knowledge and basic skills in the core areas of public health. Students are able to acquire proficiency in one or more specialized areas through advanced coursework, and gain experience in applying advanced knowledge to the solution of actual health problems in community settings during internship training.
Health Behavior Health Promotion (HBHP)
This concentration offered by the Department of Health Promotion Sciences, is based on a philosophy of health education, health promotion, and disease prevention, to improve the quality of life of individuals, families and communities. The HBHP discipline focuses on three areas:

Tucson or Phoenix Campus
TheMPH in Health Behavior Health Promotion (HBHP), is well suited for students who are excited to enroll in courses that utilize a combination of online and classroom style teaching modalities. The program is designed to be a two year program for full-time students. Part-time students can take up to 6 years to complete the program.

Online Campus
Theonline MPH in Health Behavior Health Promotion (HBHP), is designed for working professionals to be completed to two calendar years. Coursework is 100% online, and students complete one course every seven and a half weeks. Students have the opportunity to complete an immersive year-long internship, while enrolled in concentration-specific courses.
