Do you want to make a difference in the lives of children from birth to age 8? Consider majoring in Early Childhood Education. Students earning their Bachelor of Applied Science with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education gain the skills necessary to become a lead teacher, an instructional coach, an administrator or a director in an early learning public or private environment. All courses have been developed to ensure students receive a deepened understanding of the professional field of early childhood education through relevant and engaging learning experiences. Program curriculum has been aligned to Arizona Early Learning Standards, Arizona academic standards for K-3, and National Association for the Education of Young Children professional teaching standards.
